Did I identify a source of bugs?

I stopped playing for a while since the last two games resulted in weird, unrecoverable crashes, and I was severely annoyed with the game.

Then I realized that in both those games I made extensive use of the quick-to-deskop keyboard shortcut (you know, the "windows logo" key + "D").

Today I tried playing without using that shortcut. So far nothing strange happened (though I haven't played THAT long).

May I be onto something?
Does everyone else recollect some weird happenings AND the usage of that shortcut?

In my current game I used the "Windows key + D" several times with no problems observed. I routinely use just the Windows key by itself to bring up the task bar, again with no problems.

hmm, might still be related to my configuration.
Still playing without using that feature - couldn't reach the latest stages of a game yet, but so far, it seems to run smoother than it used to. Not even graphical glitches (I used to get a lot of those)
