SMAX NO-CD Patch

The subject title says it all.

I'm a proud legal owner of both games on CD-ROM (especially the ultra-rare SMAX), but find the necessity of requiring the CD in the drive during games of SMAX wto be a chore.

Tried looking on gamecopyworld, a thorough google search, rifling through old forum threads, but came up with zip (or dead links) in all cases.

Can anyone help me out?
