    Do I need the SMAX2.0 patch if I have the Planetary Pack?

    Short question - do I need the SMAX2.0 patch if I have the Planetary Pack? Should I use it, do you use it, will it do any harm?

    Your FAQ says it's the latest patch, but it doesn't say anything about PP.

    I'm not sure what patch the PP has with it, if any, but certainly installing 2.0 shouldn't do you any harm and there are quite alot of bugs, some which still exist.
    Learn to overcome the crass demands of flesh and bone, for they warp the matrix through which we perceive the world. Extend your awareness outward, beyond the self of body, to embrace the self of group and the self of humanity. The goals of the group and the greater race are transcendant, and to embrace them is to acheive enlightenment.

      The PP includes the most recent patches to both SMAC and SMAX.

      You can verify this in the game by referring to Menu/Help/Show version number.
