  • Bases adjacent to each other

    Hello

I want to edit the alphax.txt file to make the game allow me to build bases adjacents one to each other, as you know this is not a standard rule and the game doesnt allow you to make this. Well, I have read and reread all the document but didnt find the line that has the information about this rule so that I can change it (and I´m not exactly sure if it exist anyway).

Do you know if this type of modification is possible and how can I do it?

    thanks for any help!

I captured two bases from the AI which were adjacent to one another where Africa and Asia meet in Civ 1. That's the only time I've seen that happen playing many hours of many Civ variants.

not imposible you have to get the starting position generator to do it though. ive seen it. For practicle reasons, yes its mostly impossible ( )

                Civ 1 allowed adjacent cities.
