I stumbled upon another bug.

I had a cruiser probe unit sailing along and encountered a submissive ally's transport foil with a probe and a colony pod on it. Trying to go thru it, I get the message of you have ecnounted so & so probe, do you want to lauch covert attack or keep moving, BUT the picture of the other side is of the COLONY POD, not the probe. I decide that looks interesting, and say 'covert attack'. It tells me the heavily odds are against me? my probe rating is higher than his? Push the button, Probe combat (not probe action) against the colony pod, all hits on my probe, boom. Go back to reload, repeat, some results, always agaisnt the colony pod, always 100% one sided.
Insginificant, but wierd.

I have been here in the past but not much new of strong interest has come up on SMAC for some time. The last bit of real significance was winXP compatability, and even that has not been an issue for me since my old win98 machines are still running.

Since you haven't played SMAC in a while, it'd be kinda interesting to have your take on some of the screenshots we've taken of some of the issues that we've encountered in the game in the last few months. I wonder if our generation of SMAC'ers are just going over the same old ground, or if we're encountering new things that were never documented by the previous generations of SMAC'ers?

Oh I have been playing, more or continuously, just have not seen much new come up.

I recall the weired screenshots thread. The majoirty of the bugs I saw there I had read about somewhere before. There were some new ones to me.

Old bug.

Actualy i havnt seen much new for a long time. Everytime i think i did find or see something new, someone else was there before. I bet 99.9% of bugs have been known by someone, there just isnt a unified bug list.
