In Outpost you build your base on surface and up to 4 underground levels. Game had nice graphics and was made with most recent works of NASA pertaining to colonization of other planets. Many people did not like it at all, since Sierra did not make good job on interface and overall playability, report screens were crap, etc. Game is like around 10 years old. It has though some fans and a website still on.

I've played Outpost. It has some nice elements in it. Unfortunately, it only had one real path to success, and it was shipped with over half of its features "to be added or completed in a future patch". According to the manual/read me, AIR. Some of the strategy tips in the manual talked about the importance of using things not in the game. Very funny.
