Just got SMAC: Planetary Pack, which patch do I install?
There are many out there to download, and I don't want to cause any problems while playing. Which patch do I download?
Also, any user-created mods or bugfixes that are must-have?
there are several good advices, but one thing you probably should start with is adding/modifying
[PREFERENCES]
ForceOldVoxelAlgorithm=1
in your Alpha Centauri.ini - that should solve most problems.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
