What I meant, I would prefer knowing that SMAC 2 is or is planned for development. Because of the poll survey, there is suddenly a large increase in SMAC 2 threads. I want it to be made as much as you do, but I am somewhat precautios regarding this issue despite all the good signs.

Well, even if it is approved today on some CEO meeting in Firaxis, 't will still take quite a while before there's time to work on it in that company. Alot of other projects in the pipeline atm.

Yes, at least two expansions for the upcoming cIV, not mentioning special editions for it, plus an expansion or two for Pirates.
Hopefully, we will be able to test that fabled modability of cIV in six months.
