Almost certentely insisted on keeping psych at 0% in a no police allowed police rating and/or failure to build Network Nodes with VW (or Hologaphic Theaters without the VW)

Probably combined with not unclicking the option that auto ends the turn when all moves complete and so not looking at what's being predicted.

Note that the Red predictor is when a base is NOT going to grow. When you have Cloning Vacts, the easist way to prevent riots is:

    1. Go to overview base
    2. Select the psych overview.
    3. Fix all bases with equal numbers of talents and drones that isn't locked in place due to habitation limits.

And also, having 0% psych is defeinately not recommended when you own the CV unless you also have the Telepathic Matrix SP.

So you still need to look at indivual bases about to grow to predict yourself if it's going to riot or not. That is easyist if the base has a talent, but even without talents, you can pull up the psych details and see if all structures and MP are currently being used to maintign order or not.

Btw. Thanks for the tip about seeing which bases at verge of riot - wonder when I learn the last secret about how this program works

My CV riots are typically in my border colonies/captured bases that haven't build infrastructure yet, so it isn't a problem - all of my core bases are under strict control - mainly by talent, but if nessecary by psych allocation.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

My usual thing if I'm not playing the Hive is that after the base hits size 4, I'll build the Rec Commons. It's probably a force of habit, but that's just how I am.

For my game with the aliens, it wasn't just the Drone riot problem, it was almost everything. After the Drones became the top dog on Planet, I said 'screw it' and launched my stocked planetbusters at them to take them down a notch...figuring that the same stuff would work out when I was a human faction.

As for the Nerve Stapling under the sunspot activity, will that still attract the attention of the faction leaders after it clears? I've never done that before. I either repeal the charter completely, or I'll do it and won't really care what everyone else thinks...

Nope, if you nerve staple during sunspot activity, you get the message, sunspot activity prevents ____ from learning about the attrocitiy.

The main reason not to nerve stable when there isn't sunspot activity is that you get escalating trade sanctions. (10 turns for the first, 20 turns for the second, and keeps on doubling)

And also evenually a base would get immune to being nerve stabled if you do it repeatly.

You can also engage in faction-clensing during sun spot activity without being sanctioned. In this case that faction leader whose followers you executed would know enough about what happened just enough to be less likely to surrender to you and more likely to fight to the death.

Aliens should be wary of nerve-stapling because it has a drastic effect on the energy generated by base facilities.
