HI everyone.. I'm new to the forum. I used to be able to run Alpha Centauri on my 133.... win95 computer... That was thrown out a while back. I now have a 3.06ghz cpu with win xp... but this game won't run... in fact... it won't even read it... When ever I try to explore the cd... it takes a REALLY LONG TIME to even view whats on the cd... Setup won't run at all.. can anyone help me?

Have you tried copying the CD contents to your hard drive and run the setup from there?
Maybe turn off Anti Virus software.
Try doing it in safe mode if that doesn't work.Comment

That doesn't work.. I think binTravkin was right... it might be scratched too much... even tho it doesn't appear to be... I guess I'm gonna have to get a new game...Will we next create false gods to rule over us?
