    Hi!

    Another question by me..

    Im too lazy to test this, so Im asking if anyone knows:

    Imagine you play 2 on 2.

    Imagine you're at war.

    Imagine you and your mate have 301 vote and the other 2 guys have 98

    So what do you do?
    Open "unite behind me as a Supreme Leader"

    and vote for yourself.. and your mate votes

    What happens if the other team opens the turn and does some action to improve his odds:

    1.raises pop?
    2.kills your pop?

    Does the vote count of you or them change or is it counted at the moment you open the voting?

          Ok, then one more question - what happens when voting is over, but someone refuses to submit?

          How does it look like - I've never seen someone "refusing" to submit..

          Is there any real chance to win diplo anyway if someone refuses.

          What do rules say about this?

            I believe that when it happens in games with AI all the factions that submit are pacted with the supreme leader, and the one(s) who don't submit get gangbanged. Thats the idea anyway. Altough i'm not sure what the final victory is, might be co-operative.

              but what happens in MP?

              Do the factions have chance to still fight and perhaps kill the leader or does the game end at that point?

              I have won diplo a few times, but never had anyone "not submitting", I even dont know how does the dialog window look like (?Do you want to submit?" Yes/No)

                I guess it's simply a matter of continuing to play when a player doesn't recognize the supreme leadership of another player?

                    I have had a few games where one or more AI factions did not submit to me being supreme leader. Just the other day Lal would not so I had to eliminate him.
                    As far as diplomacy, perhaps you have to be diplomatic to win that way. The nukes I used on him before the vote were not very diplomatic and must be the reason he would not go along with the council.

                        Then again, with PBs and probe teams, non-conventional and sub-conventional warfare can be devestating. Look at 9-11. The US, the world power, was attacked, and yet all 2 million of its troops couldn't do a thing about it. It's the reason why Iran and Korea are feared. They'll never hold land or attack with soldiers, but they don't need to...

                          Ivan, if you remember the Moody turtle game, i started a voting there cause i was among selected for planetary governor. Then during the turn some other faction got more votes from population increase and no longer you and Walek could vote for me. (or maybe Walek only). Thus votes are counted as they are at the moment, not as they were at the moment of voting initiation.

                            It's not very smart to believe someone actually attacked US.
                            Remember that US has the best film industry and that mission to moon was one of their movies whom almost everyone believes.
                            I dont know much about astronomy, but at the first glance I can see none of those pictures/videos have been sent from the moon.

                            Read more about attack on Pentagon, especially the part of how they confiscated every camera or other recording device on the missiles (!!!) path.


                            I know this is no place for political debates, but I advise to read more for anyone who thinks that anything that is labeled
                            "U.S. official position in this(place anything you want here) affair" is 100% true.

                            I think you will be surprised to find that "truth" is only a useful word for them, not the thing it is supposed to mean.

                            Intelligent people laugh at all that.
                            Just the other day I was laughing with 1 of my friends upon hearing about US 'great' effort in WWI..
