Screen resolution in smac/x

I still play it on 800x600 res...

Does anyone find when added DirectDraw=0 into Alpha Centauri.Ini, the detail map (under right corner, near world map) was useless? it's all black screen and can't use mouse right button to open menu. When I removed DirectDraw=0 and ran game under 1024*768, the detail map also come back normal. Does anyone know how to figure out the bug?THX

That's my screen resolution . I was about to ask if those numbers would be recognized by SMACX as a legitimate resolution.

I have smac ( I have smacx but never installed it because of drm) and I don't see any way to change the resolution in the game.
