    Problems??

    Whenever I try to run SMAC it installs okay, but then when you try to play it the DVD drive will whirle and then nothing?? Why? It won;t work in either of my drives (One's a Sony DVD drive the other Is a Philips Cd-burner)

    The spec of my machine is:

    Windows XP Pro,
    1536mb DDR Ram,
    240GB HDD,
    GF4 128ddr Graphics card.

    Sounds like your CD drive transmission fluid is low.....




    ....but seriously now.
    Try dragging a shortcut of the Terran.exe (sp?) on your desktop and try to execute it from there. That is what I have to do. And you have done the "ForceOldVoxelAlgorithm=1" thing right?
