How to fix Word Rap on techlongs.txt and blurbls.txt

I downloaded the aldebaran patch on my dad's computer, just to see what it was like. I didn't really like it, so I just reinstalled the game, but I did like the fact that it fixed the word rap problems on the tech blurbs and long descriptions.

For those you don't know what I'm talking about, when you discover a tech, near the bottom, it will have a quote, or blurb. The blurb corresponds with the sound file that is playing at the same time. You will also note that next to this box two purple/white buttons appear. These buttons toggle between the blurb and the description of the tech. In both of these, you will also note that when you scroll on either one, the word rap gets screwed up. If you don't know what I mean, just try reading them and scrolling them at the same time, and yoú'll understand.

So anyway, I can't seem to figure out what file it is that is on the Alderbaran patch that fixes this. I would appreciate your help in how to fix this word wrap problem...
