  • I need an in-game tech image

Monopole Magnets. If someone could post the ingame icon for monopole magnets in this thread, I'd be very grateful. A link to one already on the net would be cool too.

Hi, by the way. Nice to be back. Anyone remember me?

My SMAC and SMACX cds are a couple hundred miles away at the moment.

Nice to see this place is so busy and helpful.

If you could tell me how, I would do it, but otherwise sorry, I don't know how...

I hope this works, never posted an image before, and I hope this is helpful...

And don't listen to Enigma, he is what we at Apolyton like to call 'special'...

Make it an attachment. If you still haven't figured it out by the time I get home, I'll post it.

Please don't take Enigma_Nova's comments as a gauge of the rest of the people at this board. The people here (specifically the SMAC folks) are some of the most genuinely intelligent, open minded, easy-going, yet grounded, people I have ever run across. And I was doing Usenet before all the World Wide Wackos, and the AOLiens.

Even Enigma_Nova isn't the worst of folks I've met. Enigma_Nova is kind of like a barnacle. He doesn't really contribute much to the ship, as a matter of fact he tends to slow down its progress. There is no efficient way to get rid of him, so eventually you learn to go along with him still attached to your underside.

So personnal attacks are fine now?

Sure Enigma has his flaws, but I don't see him being unhelpful there. Perhaps a little brisk, but his suggestions are sensible - print screen in SMAX or check the image files. They're both things that people could easily overlook.

Bashing him isn't helpful, nor is it acceptable IMHO.

I've attatched tech18.pcx, in a zipped form. I've not checked it's the right one, I'm presuming enigma is correct in that.

Relax, that is why I put the wink at the end. I'm not really pissed with him. He is just abrasive, obviously a quirk I am not all that unfamiliar with myself.

I tried to make it an attachment, but unfortunately you can't attach .pcx files, and since I don't know how to zip or convert, I couldn't attach it...

                          Hey, thanks Chaunk!

And yes, the SMAC boards have always been my favorite part of Apolyton. Does Velo still post?
