What is SMAC v5.0 ??

I know the update 4.0 but no the 5.0 one ?!
Do I miss something ?

If you ask me, I saw "SMAC v5.0" in many AC PBEM thread. And, yes, I make some search - without succes .

The Firaxis' download site does'nt seem to know it either so I'm not so late ....

Does anybody can explain me ?

You can download it on the Firaxis site.

The XP/2000 Compatability patch on the firaxis site also patches SMAC to version 5.0. FYI.

Edit: X-post with Maniac... umm useful info... umm.... the patch also introduces the dodgy drone display bug into SMAC, as well as fixing a few other bugs.
