I remember reading that worms receive penalties when attacking units before 2115 and attacking defended bases before 2150. Also I read about people talking early worm rushes. How do you do early worm rush when they are penalized?

Well, since native worms won't attack your captured worms, you're almost certain to win. Attacker gets +50% in psi combat, and +10% for each level of positive planet rating. So yeah, against a worm of equvalent size, victory is a mortal lock.
And yes, the odds are correctly calculated and displayed, if you choose the options to display odds before attacking (something I always have on).Comment
