I think this discussion will go nowhere except the OT. So far there hasn't been any real violation of the rules. Let's keep it that way. Banning mention of a country is obviously not going to happen so it's not necessary to go into details as to why to ban mention of a country.

I tried searching for what the problem with the site search was, and didn't find any :shrug:

It would be helpful to have specifics about what searches resulted in which problems though.

Pretty much any search gives results which have a tiny chronological gap in them. From ~2004 to ~2011 have no results. Even if those threads which should be listed in the results still exist.

I see ... yes it does appear that there are very few threads that are being searched from 2004 to 2012 ... I will look into it.
