I just got some new non-invasion related intrigue. Apparently, Spain is building a Forbidden Palace, which reduces happiness in occupied cities. I love that this 'intrigue' is so completely useless the game won't even let me share it with other AIs.

There is a contest where the best Gods and Kings review gets their money back for buying the game. Clearly this contest was designed to help the people who were cheated by this terrible excuse for an expansion back.

Noted child obsessed pervert OzzyKP, a Civ 5 and Gods and Kings apologist who is happy with his purchase of the expansion, did not get this memo and submitted a positive review. Having submitted a good faith review to the contest, I believe I am more deserving of my money back. Plomp disagrees and is openly supporting OzzyKP's review, which was bought and paid for by Firaxis and their resident landed alien virgin Ed Beach. Please support my review so that I can collect my money.

Our good friend and inspiring poster, literary genius and comedic maestro Wiglaf has been banned until September 26, 2012 for "placing non-acceptable content in an on-topic forum". Yesterday he posted an insightful, informative and extremely helpful review for Civilization V: Gods and Kings. This afternoon, he contacted me over Steam to tell me that Plomp had banned him for being truthful. We can only hope that Plomp sees reason. Please, if you pray, pray. If you do not...do whatever you do.

Wiglaf has also asked me to request on his behalf that contest rules and reward be clarified in the future: To "write the best review and get a 3 month ban".
