OK, I will attempt to eliminate it using AdBlock.

It might be because I'm using the dark forum skin, but it is most certainly NOT transparent.

I shouldn't have to tweak my browser just to visit a particular site. The problem isn't/wasn't on my end.

I've been seeing it too. As I don't want to add another addon to my browser, I've been inspecting the boxes and adding "display:none;" to the inline styles box (only works with Firefox 8 and above, I think, or IE 7 and above, and I have no idea about Chrome or Opera). Could whoever is responsible for maintaining the website please clean this up? I pay good money to be a member here! Oh wait...

I disabled the facebook connect, it is probably something on their end that they changed. Even so it does not show up in the vBulletin default style. It seems to be something in our customized styles, but at some point it is not worth to search for it. So I may later try to pin it down, so you may see it again, or I just postpone to the next vBulletin upgrade like vBulletin 4.12 or later.
