I cant see who is browsing various forums, normally dont care but we're drafting for fantasy sports and it helps knowing if the people up for a pick are even here. I get a no access message when I click on the # of users/members/guests browsing the forum.

eh, not sure about that now.

"Breadcrumbs" is the word you're after.

There's a plug-in on vbulletin.org that adds it into the templates very nicely.

Hmm, I can see it. Must be a usergroup setting. If we ask nicely hopefully they can allow it for everyone.

I'll look into that 'browsing the forum' thing, I agree, that's very interesting indeed.
For the record, I can see it

Thanks for the link Dale, I'll have a look.

@Krill: timelines are difficult. We all have full time jobs, and Jeroen is also running a small online game business next to it (which has gone live as well in the past few days!!!). We'll most probaly just adopt the vB system (forgot it's name) for this now.
I think you guys already got some extra priveleges already.

Different question: what about the content we're deliving?

I just logged in after about a year absent. While I'm generally in favor of upgrades, this one was distinctly underwhelming for reasons already discussed in detail.

I do have a specific question: where are the downloads? I'm trying to get release 1097 of the Civ CtP 2 project, and keep getting:

                Not Found

The requested URL /directory/jump/c-source-code-project-303/5288 was not found on this server.

I'm not getting emails notifying me of new PMs. My settings look correct and unchanged from the old site...

                    Thanks for reporting e-mail problem.
We fixed it during the beta test, but apparently it's back. I'll let Jeroen know.

Many thanks for the skin removing the background pictures.

Hey, I'm a user... always happy to whine about things.

Please thank Jeroen for all his work. This was obvously a huge undertaking.

Get rid of the white text on an orange background, and I'd say this is well-nigh perfect. (Once I've widened the forum and axed the background wallpaper.)

However, I'm not receiving emails when someone sends me a PM; I double checked all my settings, and I should be getting them.

EDIT: so, yeah, what the rabbit said. Including a big old "thanks". You're good people, even if you're Dutch.

I think the background image is a pain. I found how to get rid of the nuisance, though, thanks for allowing that.

I think that http://apolyton.net/forums/ going to the Spotlight instead of the forums is utterly evil. I don't care about the spotlight. If at least it gave me a 404 error like http://apolyton.net/forums does? But now, it puts me to a page that is not the one requested just because of a trailing slash. This means an error in url typing (yes, I still type urls) will lead you to the homepage instead of an error page, and that is very wrong.

The dark backround color scheme is also hard on the eyes. It's almost unbearable, honestly. I think I won't visit 'poly for anything except checking the option to have some dark text on light background is available until I find a bearable color scheme.
