    Improving poly's search results.

    Going to Google and typing in "Civilization 5 forum" brings up the following results:




    As you can see CFC is right at the very top, in second place is the official 2K Games Civ 5 forum, in 3rd place is another link to CFC, the fourth result is Whoopsie, and poly is way down in 5th place.

    What can we do to improve our position in Google searches? We should be able to at least beat whoopsie and come before secondary hits for CFC. New folks are already coming in because of all the press Civ 5 has been getting but I think we'd get even more if we were higher up on the search results.

    This is an SEO problem, we've already had threads on this where I provided input.

                It's indeed a SEO problem.
                One of the things is that Apolyton had way too many domains, all leading to the same pages, resulting in low scores for all domains instead of a high score on a single domain. We have now decided to keep only apolyton.net and apolyton.com, and apolyton.com will only pass through to apolyton.net.
