  • Why is this website so damn slow?

It used to work and now it doesnt. I dunno whats wrong but it sucks to wait a minute for a thread to open.

It could be the porn you have downloading. It's choking the tubes.

Are you still experiencing this issue today, Spencer?

I just had half an hour where the site wasn't responding. I didn't get any errors or anything, the site just loaded and loaded forever and ever.

I'll have to leave it to Gramphos, Solver, snoopy369 or a combination thereof to respond to this both tech-wise and communication-wise... not my area of expertise!

I do not believe that is what is required. Even if it were, there is little monies available to be able to do that.

well maybe spunking up PolyPlus a bit might put a dent in that problem?

ForumWarz for most of 2008 was completely dependent on user-enhanced site-features (still is.) And they have had 3 server upgrades in that year alone pertaining to it.

From the sounds of it they also have in the order of magnitude of a hundred times the traffic we do, which makes it slightly easier to monetise your operation

I will say today and this evening, many times (>25) I have had the site hang up to the tune of 3 minutes accessing a thread or trying to post.

Very off for me lately, just sharing, may be something today is what I am trying to express versus everyday.

Well it's been a week and none of them have replied. It's intermittently slow here too.

I have admittedly done less browsing than usual in the past couple weeks, but I haven't noticed any slowness. There's the DP problem periodically when replying, but not sure about any slowness. Siro shouldn't be browsing at six in the morning anyway
