  • Can't edit signature

Trying to edit my signature to add in a new line, and it keeps saying it's too long and can only have 4 lines.

When I went to school, 3 existing lines + 1 new line = 4 lines.

New line for signature: Welcome to Riley Oscar Kent, born 11 Jan 2009.

    Your sig has four lines:

1.Dales Modding Site! All of Dale's mods in one location: The Road to War, Dale's Combat Mod, and Age
    2.of Discovery.
3.Apolyton Civ4: Colonization Forum | Apolyton Civ4: Colonization Info Centre | My Spore page
4.Civ4: Col Mods: Unofficial bug-fix patch | PatchMod - Bug & Balance fixes | Age of Discovery II

    ACK!
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!

Tuberski is correct, though not for the reason he thinks.

The forums consider 90 characters to be a reasonable limit to a signature line, because that is a reasonable length of display on a 1024x768 monitor. Two of your sig lines are over 90 characters, so you actually have 5 lines according to the forums...

Bah it's crap. I have 3! And plenty of space for that matter. The forum should support all modern standard resolutions.

The point is that the limit of 4 is intended to ensure that your sig never goes over 4 lines, even on smaller resolutions.

90 characters for normal text, but sig lines are in smaller (8 point?) text...
