      Green is ... acceptable.

At least it's better than the old default I viewed Poly with....

The green is growing on me.

But the boxes for the posts are much too light.

          The green is fine.

One thing that drives me nuts is Im used to going to the far left to click on the forums, the page that shows all the forum. Now its the homepage.

Ill get used to it, but after 6 years plus its going to take a bit of time to break the habit

Overall I like whats been done with the site so far.

You're talking about the 'breadcrumb' links near the top of each page.

I have the same problem, I've learned to get used to it, but I still make mistakes occasionally. The other thing is that the logo link is now to the forum start, when it used to be the home page.

Use the forum jump bar instead of the breadcrumb... there are very few cases where the breadcrumb is better. Also, at least on REW, I moved the forum jump bar to be in more ... useful ... locations.

That sounds like a good work around Snoop, its just that Ive been going to the main forum page in one way for about 6 years. It isn't a show stopper for me, its just going to take a while to break the habit

IMO it would be helpful if the bottom Forum Jump on the main page of any forum could be moved to the top part of its section.

In most cases the breadcrumb is better.

The frontpage is ABSOLUTELY USELESS. There's no reason the behaviour should've changed in the upgrade, bring it back to the forums. Click the big logo if you want the startpage. It's internet consistency...

How, precisely, is the breadcrumb better? The breadcrumb is on top of the page, which usually you need to scroll up to get to... while the forum jump is right after the last post (in R:EW). The forum jump defaults to showing you the forum you're in, so it's always easy to get to the nearby forums; and any forum that's not in the breadcrumb is much easier to get to. If you only post in OT then they're basically equivalent, except for the position on the page; but I fail to see how the breadcrumb is significantly better.

Explain? I'm not sure I get what you mean.

I think just that it should be right under the quick reply form (which I'd agree with).

The Fourm jump next to the posting rules at the bottom of a forum page (not thread) is at the bottom of that section. If it could be top aligned in that area, it'd be more useful.
