Ah. Better late than never , so no worries.

    Greetings, new listener!

The Sid Meier interview caught my attention, and being a long time fan of Colonization, the one with the developers discussing Civ4: Col was really awesome.

We were hopeful that with the release of Episode 50 with Sid that PolyCast would gain some new listeners beyond that episode, with the same being said for our Civ4Col special.

I'll be tuning in from now on, you can count on it, and I've also started listening to some of the older ones.

I'm certain you'll find at least some, if not a decent majority, of the content of our older episodes to be relevant still today... and hopefully always entertaining at least. We consider it a bonus that you enjoyed what you heard enough to go back and listener to parts of our show's Archive too.

Anyway, keep up the good work
On behalf of the PC team, thank you kindly.

        Done.

        Good Luck!

        :fingerscrossed:
I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

I nominated PolyCast. Surprisingly, I said some very nice things about Dan's work publishing and editing the show. (So, do I win a prize?)

I didn't even mention how wonderful Cartimandua is on the show, although I was sorely tempted.

              Done.

              My comments:

Polycast is a well produced and entertaining podcast. Of particular note is that in addition to the regular co-hosts, most shows involve different folks from the gaming community, which adds new insight and perspectives. Two thumbs up!
But what I don't understand is why you wanted us to nominate Polycast in the Inspirational Religious category.
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.

We praise Sid for bestowing us with our holy topics... [This is a paraphrase of what Imran said in the closing of a first season episode.]

                  My comments:

PolyCast is important as well effective in informing its diverse fanbase on topics covering the various civilization series, from interviews by developers and modmakers to upcoming proposed releases.

It is done not only in an easy to listen to and understand format, but in a relaxed atomosphere that allows those participating to show personality traits we can all identify with.

Whether your an expert or a novice, Polycast provides many topics to enjoy and then implement at a later time. I personally have learned many new techniques and pondered numerous more that will certainly open eyes.

The dedication is to be commended in producing this, many dedicated regulars as well as talented volunteers who contribute on occasions less regular than the core team.

Late breaking news or fan-based scenarios and mods, Polycast keeps you thoroughly covered!

We should all be thankful for the contributions this production makes in enlightening its listeneres in a more enjoyable gaming experience.

                    My comments:

PolyCast creates both entertaining and informing podcasts about the Civilization games and everything that relates to civilization. It's being recorded simultaneously by people from different places on different continents. Despite these distance-troubles it is able to create a very good quality show every two weeks for two years already.

No specific date has yet been disclosed as to when the Top 10 nominees in each category will be publicly announced and the two-week voting period will begin, but based on details on the review and voting process, I'd say mid-October. Once I know more, I will follow-up in this thread on that.
