No, nothing being worked on at the moment that I'm aware of and I'm not experiencing such difficulty.

Did you try reloading the page and clearing your browser cache(s)? Are other sections of the site similarly affected for you, e.g. http://civrev.apolyton.net? Are images on other sites you visit loading all right?

indeed! It could have been a number of minor things, but now that it's resolved -- and gladly so -- it's even harder to be certain.

I was browsing the site at the time GT was experiencing difficulties but I was not, so I do not believe it had anything to do with Apolyton specifically.

Edit: Never mind, it seems to have been a very short-lived cough-up this time.

The 'GO' button at the bottom of the page has disappeared, and a number of threads are showing 'posts' but not 'views'.

The list box at the bottom of the page (for forum navigation) and the "go" button have disapeared as well.

I am having consistent repeats from Apolyton as in OP all weekend but since it was determined it was not Apolyton related and since does not happen anywhere else on the internets...

I think the server has a highload...you guys sure you aren't migrating to a new server now or something? Maybe doing something extra special and trying to keep it under wraps until you can reveal the "ZOMFG they brought the forums up to 2004 level quality" changes?
