We're not necessarily aiming at the same audience as PolyCast. There are plenty of hardcore modders out there to tailor the show to them (just not on Apolyton unfortunately). If you only have a very passing interest in playing mods I agree that I'm not sure a bi-weekly podcast would offer you much. That's not to say we wouldn't want to attract a more general audience as well (in fact since we review a few mods a fortnight makes ModCast an excellent introduction to the otherwise somewhat intimidating world of mods and scenarios), but our focus will be on the modding community.
Of course, a lot depends on listener feedback. If you guys give us a lot of feedback that we should be more focused on this or that then we'll go in that direction (assuming we don't object to that ourselves of course), and if it turns out nobody can be bothered to listen at all then maybe we will indeed rethink the entire show. But I'm not going into this assuming we'll fail, that tends to be a self-fulfilling prophecy
