That project kinda died out a long time ago, though attempts are bing made at "the sight who's name shall not be spoken" to resurrect it.
Companions the creator seeks, not corpses, not herds and believers. Fellow creators, the creator seeks - those who write new values on new tablets. Companions the creator seeks, and fellow harvesters; for everything about him is ripe for the harvest. - Thus spoke Zarathustra, Fredrick Nietzsche

The forum has been removed and its contents are merged back into AC-Creation. This is due to the fact that there has been no activity related to the project in a while and that the only person who seemed to be actively doing things announced that he no longer has interest.

Well yeah duh, I'm more or less the lead designer of the mod at CFC. (though I haven't been doing anything for three weeks now - fortunately work on the unit workshop continues in the meantime)

CFC is a better forum than Apolyton for developing mods. Newer forum software, a downloads database, active mods are given their own subforum... Nevertheless, once we release something public (shouldn't take too long hopefully - though don't quote me on that - we were originally planning for 31 August ), I was hoping to use the C4AC forum here too, so that I could increase my postcount err I mean perhaps bring some activity back to Apolyton. You'd be proud of me: a true Apolyton Patriot.

Yeah, I am very proud of you. Taking an entire mod over to CFC

We also give active mods their own forums if needed... the problem is, this mod basically died out right after we gave it the forum

True. To be more precise then:
                    1) I'd consider a multi-quote feature useful.
                    2) The fact that you can't update your files (regular occurence with mods) makes the Apolyton Directory useless.

I believe I know to what you're referring, but can you reference (e.g. on vBulletins website)?

You can update your files, but it does require intervention on our (the staff's) part -- which is a hindrance and we wouldn't claim it to be anything but.

We are aware of the severe limitations of the Directory in both its interface and functionality; it is integrated with the forums here in so far as the user databases but that is all -- it is driven by other software. We would have replaced it some time ago already were it not for staff time and number limitations.

I don't know how to look for such a reference.

Hey all understandable of course. Just wanted to state the reasons why I consider CFC currently more modder/user-friendly, since you replied to that post of mine.

In any case... long live Apolyton!

A search function on either the site itself or through a restricted (i.e. domain-only) search engine perhaps, e.g. Google.

What's current might change. Everything seems to be a function of my availability thou, which is not a good thing... At least I got an assistant now. I just need to find some real use of him

Dan, multiquote is when you can select several posts to quote before replying.
