  • Solver Promoted to Co-Administrator

The Apolyton Civilization Site (ACS) administration is now five members strong. Long-time Senior Staff member "Solver" is now Co-Administrator and in turn apart of the Cabinet, the name internally applied to administrators. What is unique about this arrangement in the staff hierarchy is that he is not a Co-Owner as well as are the pre-existing Co-Administrators who all remain in place.

Solver has been apart of ACS' staff now for more than six years. His most previous title, Technical Assistant, has being re-assigned and the announcement of its new holder is imminent.

Solver has been apart of ACS' staff now for more than seven years.

Thanks Dan, but I haven't even been registered here for 7 years, that anniversary is in a week

          Well, a few things:

1-- If you have a Cabinet, you clearly want to sound like a government. I suggest going whole hog and getting a Senate and a secretary of the interior, posthaste. Also you need a crack legal team to take on Microsoft when they try to shut down your machinimas. I suggest you contact James Baker.

2--It isn't clear what the difference is between a Technical Assistant and an administrator-who-isn't-coowner. All you've done is reassign a title.

3--The site needs fewer subforums before you start adding administrators.

Hmm, I think "almost seven" would have been a better fix

An administrator has a direct, authoritative say in all activities that are undertaken on site be they technical or otherwise. A Technical Assistant aids in the technical operation of the site under the direction of the Technical Director and administration.

3--The site needs fewer subforums before you start adding administrators.
                Now you're just talking nonsense.

Congratulations Solver, for between you and rest of the Admin and Staff we have very level headed Administrators, fair as fair can be.

I have allways thought you did a very good job, even when sending me up the river years ago for trolling Gary Gavrushka, for which I was out of line and ya did what must be done, muzzle a troll on the loose

                    Anyhoo, Congrats!

EDITED TO REFLECT HARD WORK AND EFFORTS BY ALL!

I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.
