The apolyton logo

I just looked at the logo as for example displayed at the top left of this forum, and there seems to be artifacts. For example to the top right of the first "O" there is a dark spot.

Decreasing the contrast of the logo and scaling it make sit quite clear what the problem is....



I don't see the point of all that noise. So of it serve a purpose as shadows, but other parts, such as the part at the O, are just ugly.

Never thought of it. Now I see it very clearly. My poly life is wrecked, I now will see the ugly noise everywhere I go!
