Bots are listed in the totals for "guests" at the bottom of the forums, according to Markos. The ratio of members to guests at CivFanatics is usually greater than 1. On Poly recently it's been closer to 1 to 10. If most of these "guests" are actually bots of some kind, why are they here and not on the CivFan forums?
While CivFan usually has 5 times the number of members online than Poly, they only have one third the number of guests. Is this because they are doing a better job of keeping the bots out?
What is the administration's policy about net bots? Can you tell us how many are there, on average? What do they do here? Are actual members at any risk? What are you doing about them?
