Because I had for such a long time, come to appreciate so many for their diversity of views and committments to their passions.

Why did i leave?

I would not want to make a huge public posting of anything sensitive to site that would cause others to become involved with a decision I felt compelled to make. A tough one yes but none the less one I can and choose to live with.

For those who ever have been involved in a long term relationship, sometimes your emotional committment is such that you cannot simply hush and be quiet. Well, thats what I decided to do.

Will I be back as a regular poster here , absolutely no current plans, in fact the reason i came here was someone told me about this thread.

I did want to just say hello to all and even those whom i had an occasional hair crossed with, I dont hate nor have ill will toward.

Thank you for asking and to tell you the truth Apolyton is in its core a great place, not because of it being a website, but because of all the contributions made by the community itself.

Many hard working efforts behind the scene by Administration and Staff sometimes may go misunderstood.

By and Large, this has a wonderful community committment and would encourage all to continue.

Be well and may you all be blessed in your individual endeavors.

You are missed by me and one day perhaps I will become engaged again in activity at this site.

You folks are too kind, the kind of folks that has made Apolyton an enjoyable place for this old Gramps!

Just to address one thing, without much elaboration, no poster did anything wrong to me. Lets leave it there, and as for this moderation of this motley crew, well, , it was I who was honored to hold such a prestigious position with such a great group of folks.

My heart is and allways has been in providing a place in an otherwise unstable environment, a palce to come and have fun and relax, throw back a few cold ones and share some of lifes laughters,pitfalls and pains.

No, not a sociologist nor physcotherapist, just allways wanted people to come and have a good time.

Out in the real world, things get kind crossed and also the lines eventually seem to blend together, in here well, we can try to coexist.

Reading this thread does bring to mind wonderful and pleasant memories, man, I could tell ya the laughs I have had with and over some of your comments.

I can just see the time I thought Pekka was going to do something I thought and well, immediatley began praying for the man and trying to minister and talk to him only to find out, well, he is a better troll than I

That was how I got to know him as well as a person can get to know an online personality.

I remember the passions of David Floyd, his martial arts experience versus mine, mine from bouncing and from training and years of fighting in Biker Clubs in Northeast maine and southeastern United States Marine Corps patronized strip clubs.

I came to respect him and through my passion pleas, understoof more about other styles. Several others come to mind. Dang, who was it that was in military that was also good in martial arts, I can see them but for the life of me cant remember the poster!! (Happens when ya get a bit older, some fragments of memory just dissappear). I can see a picture they posted once, doing a submission hold, a foreign to me Military!

I have folks from Texas I respect for their views and also overseas from here, man, memory lane working hard here!

I have to thank Apolyton's Horse, you see, years ago I went by another name, then he called me a troll and honestly had never heard of what that was, and luaghed like heck because it fit me to a T. Good hearted but nonetheless, a Troll. I had my name changed to that until my first grandson was born 4.5 years ago, becoming Grandpa Troll.

Ahh, the memories.

I am no scholar and certainly have not everyone's answers, but I had allways enjoyed posting pictures, attaching images, in hopes of perhaps allowing someone a slight rumble of laughter, a moment to pause to see that throughout all the activities in life, it is ok to joke. Or attempt to.

Ok, Im off now, but from the bottom of my heart to your graciousness of yours, thanks for all the awesome times here at Poly. For one person, yours truly, they did not go overlooked.
