My Threads - Adding Subscriptions

How do you add a thread to "My Threads" without posting in it? I tried the subscribe to this thread, but that didn't work, since the thread still didn't show up. I hope the subscribe wasn't an email thing.

I searched through the FAQ, but couldn't find it.

My threads isn't for subscriptions, it's specifically for threads you posted in. Subscribed threads are visible in the control panel.

Thanks! So in order to add a thread I've posted in to my control panel, I also have to subscribe to it? Is there a way to make it so that threads I post in are automatically subscribed too? I didn't see it in the Options.

Yeah, it would seem there is no such option

So you're stuck with My Threads for threads you participated in, and manual subscriptions for the control panel.

Wha? I haven't subscribed to a thread in years, and I have plenty of current threads in subscriptions.

From what I recall, posting in a thread using Post Reply, and not quick reply, will add it to your Subscribed Threads.
