I quoted one of Solver's posts over there, so he should be able to figure out who I am now. I'm not going to make it easy.

As I said over there, our OTF is more mature (even if some posters are immature ). A lot of threads over there are the same type of threads I used to see in Poly OTF 5 years ago. But we've discussed those subjects to death, and you just don't see those dicussions anymore.

I voted banana (I don't know whether it's a joke or not, but I FEAR not) and Terrible idea.

The forums here have a more mature nature. CFC posts are often frivilous compared to here. I rarely visit and much-more-rarely post at CFC. The cultures are different enough that Culture Shock would be widespread. Short-term losses to the combined site would be substantial -- presenting savings on bandwidth as adjustments are made.

For the civ-creation/mods, CFC is much better than here. That is where I go for mod packages and news.

We don't share the same history of jokes, either. If someone were to post about Eventis, and I said "WTF is Eventis?", people would proceed to explain Eventis to me. If Faded Glory showed up and we said "Hey, aren't you dead?", people would wonder WTF was wrong with us. If Nikolai posted a picture of a fork, they'd ask "WTF is that?" In fact, they won't even use WTF.
