Why does our search function only search in thread titles now?

It searches in more than just thread titles still -- I was able to search for part of a sentence I know was in another thread in this forum, and using the "exact phrase" field option it worked.

Part of the phrase of mine you searched for contains quotation marks. Was/is this the case with your most recent searches otherwise? For instance, my searching for the 'exact phrase' of "field option it worked" that appears above (minus the quotes, of course) yielded a result in displaying it both as a post and a thread:

I'm using the search that appears just below "Apolyton Civilization Forums" in line that tells you what thread you're at.
