A note about the 500 posts limit...

I noticed an earlier thread that the 500 posts limit is still in effect but I cannot find about it in the FAQ.

If this specific rule is not referred into the FAQ it would be a good idea to include it in an future update, thus avoid debates and any misunderstanding. Otherwise please ignore this post.

Especially since it allows one to start "part 2" threads, and spend the first 50 posts doing a "recap" of the previous thread.

No, because, first, I said 50 posts, and secondly, it was a hyperbole for the sake of the argument. I have seen recaps run rampant in the past, however.

EDIT: Incidentally, I don't necessarily think recaps are a bad thing, when used in moderation. For some threads, it's much easier to read a brief summary, than dig through hundreds of posts to see what transpired.

You should really join one!

We're currently playing a 13-player game, which is a bit over the top. But we're on session 15 (3 hours each), sometimes it's a pain to get connected, but mostly, like yesterday, we have smooth session, much stories and diplomacy.

Our last game was better though, but that's because the large number of players, too much drop outs.
