I looked into this, the code for displaying who you're a buddy of in profile pages is a bit flaky. Unfortunately there's not much that can be done about that short of rewriting the whole way buddy and ignore lists are handled, which isn't going to happen anytime soon. The only way to solve this is to make sure the last person on your buddy list is someone for who you don't mind if you don't show up in their profile.
But the persons in question *do* actually have you on their buddy list, so all the functionality is there. It's just a display issue...Comment

What are you bumping this for? I gave you an answer: this problem cannot be fixed without a significant rewrite of the software.
And in the foreseeable future that won't happen, other things have a higher priority for now. It's on my (long) list of stuff to look at when everything else we have planned has been taken care of, but those plans are at least a year's worth of work (and that's a very conservative estimate). So if a year or two from now this is still an issue feel free to remind me again, if I have time at that point (big if) I might consider it.Comment
