Often, when I surf Apolyton, the page will partially load but then stop once it hits "game-advertising-online.com" or somesuch and will instead just sit there for a minute or two before moving on.

Three questions en masse:
1) What browser/version is everyone using who is experiencing this problem (save Jon Miller who I know about from another thread
)?
2) Can you determine if it's a particular ad from this provider, or all of them?
3) When did this problem begin? Apolyton has been affiliated with the GAO agency for almost two months now.

1. Firefox 1.5.0.7
2. For me, it seems to just be GAO
3. I've only really noticed it in the past two days.
It is getting particularly bad. I'll open a ton of links through firefox, and half of them will load nearly instantly...the other half will take so long, and refreshing only helps in a couple of cases.Comment

I have been monitoring this matter for the last few days, and today is the first since I began that monitoring that I have had no issues with any GAO ad loading.Originally posted by Comrade Tassadar

Update
GAO is reporting that their server has been under attack for several days. This type of attack has been slowing their server down for a few hours at a time, making the page/ad loads time out. They're continuing to look into this, ultimately attempting to determine how to resolve the problem.
