As Markos and some others have already said, it's time to move on from the... exchange that has caused much distress to a number of people. Let's call it a case to agree to disagree.

There will be no further discussion of this matter in this thread or otherwise; at 'best', affected threads will be closed and any "related"/"original" matters can be continued in another.

I disagree. I think the OT is not what it used to be years ago. I oftenly open it only to find that there are hardly interesting threats overthere. I used to visit Apolyton only for the OT for some years, now I visit it for the civ4:multiplayer forum.

post count is some kind of a payment. You pay people to post something on your site. It's easy money since it doesn't cost you anything while for some reason they do value it. If you give only a postcount for 50+ posts on the OTF you'll see more quality posts. People are willing to post some quality! For sure since spam is easy to find. Posts with 51 stupid characters or something are spam. Big PCR and done you are.
