what happens is I log in, select ctp multiplaying, and when I select any thread it starts loading and then it just keeps showing it is loading and will not let me do anything online anymore.

guys I am hoving a problem with the site. I believe it is with my computer, but I cannot fix it immediately. The problem is when I log on and navagate through the pages at one of them it will freeze everything. I have to restart the computer completely. I do not have this problem with anything anywhere. However I can navagate on the computer at work just fine. So I know it has something to do with my computer. But like I said I do not have this problem on any other site. so until I figure out what is off I cannot post turns

One other poster had this to say:

I also have a problem with the CTP site. I can open it and post, but when I close it my computer goes berserk. So, now I have to change to another site before closing the link to the internet

Any suggestions/guidance would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

Well, I'd recommend first taking some basic measures like checking your browser is up-to-date, in case it's a bug related to the browser rendering the page. Especially in case of older releases of Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox and Netscape.

One option could be that there's some ad trying to be loaded, which causes the browser the hang up. Not sure what ad, but it's quite often an issue with sites, that some banner keeps trying to load for ages. However this causing the browser to lock is rare or at least something I haven't encountered, but as said, a bug in the browser is possible.

Really can't see any reason why specifically those subforums could otherwise crash the browser, as AFAIK there's no content there that tries to load some plugin. That would be a plausible explanation, if it would be the case.
