Thankyou, works great Fast service almost makes me consider getting ApolytonPLUS, but not quite.

Edit: Except that the screenshots in this thread screw it up again

              Markos,

The top?? Perhaps we speak of differing issues. You seem to be interested in the clutter at the top while I would like to see the page fit without a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom.

btw, maxing doesn't make it go away. At least it is not so bad as the Great Library pages that go three or four screen widths to the right. Also btw, this comment page fits fine, for what it's worth.

Maybe the problem could be fixed by getting rid of the light bulbs.

              Thanks for this great site,
              Monk

This is a random Great Library link. It is two pages wide, using FF, 1024 res.

                    Thanks

Actually, the Great Library has always had the 'wide page' display. Probably an artifact of its coding. I mentioned that as an example and noted that this problem (though new) is not as bad as the GL.

I fiddled about with different styles at various Civ2 fora and only this one has the horizontal bar at the bottom. (Which echoes your mention.) At least the entire page (of text) displays, so moving along the bar is unnecessary. It just adds to the clutter.

I wonder what is unique about the Community Forum??

you DO realise that this is a static page of our original forums back in 1999 and have nothing to do with the current forum system, right?

Oh for crying out loud. Am I being trolled??

Did you actually read what I wrote??

What part of ("always" been that way and "as an example" AND this is "not as bad as the GL") is causing confusion.

If you don't know what the problem is and don't want to try and fix it just say so and have done with it. Really, Markos, don't you think belittling folk who are trying to help is a bit naughty??

And btw, yes, I do realize that. That is what I was trying to make apparent in the paragraph that followed. Please, just forget I wrote anything. The page will look however it looks...and that's... okay.

Take a look at the Top of Forum page--the very first line.

It looks like the horizontal bar comes about because that line extends beyond every other line. Specifically, it is the word "SEQUEL".

Could some of that information be edited so that the line fits??

                                Just trying to be helpful,
