The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.
25 themes/skins/styles are now available to members. Check the select drop-down at the bottom-left of each page.

The top?? Perhaps we speak of differing issues. You seem to be interested in the clutter at the top while I would like to see the page fit without a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom.
btw, maxing doesn't make it go away. At least it is not so bad as the Great Library pages that go three or four screen widths to the right. Also btw, this comment page fits fine, for what it's worth.
Maybe the problem could be fixed by getting rid of the light bulbs.

i only get a horizontal bar at default style on 1024 at this thread. not sure why yet

Actually, the Great Library has always had the 'wide page' display. Probably an artifact of its coding. I mentioned that as an example and noted that this problem (though new) is not as bad as the GL.
I fiddled about with different styles at various Civ2 fora and only this one has the horizontal bar at the bottom. (Which echoes your mention.) At least the entire page (of text) displays, so moving along the bar is unnecessary. It just adds to the clutter.
I wonder what is unique about the Community Forum??

Oh for crying out loud. Am I being trolled??
Did you actually read what I wrote??

What part of ("always" been that way and "as an example" AND this is "not as bad as the GL") is causing confusion.
If you don't know what the problem is and don't want to try and fix it just say so and have done with it. Really, Markos, don't you think belittling folk who are trying to help is a bit naughty??
And btw, yes, I do realize that. That is what I was trying to make apparent in the paragraph that followed. Please, just forget I wrote anything. The page will look however it looks...and that's... okay.
