      Ah yes, OK.

Alternatively then, in addition to the screenshot save a copy of the source code of the page that the ad appears on and email it to Markos and myself.

It appears on every page. It's doesn't look like an ad, it looks like a download request. I can find it in my Manage Addons.

          OK...

Although it appears as a pop-up, sending Markos and I the source code of the forum page that it pops-up on top of should also still be helpful. A screenshot should also be invaluable.

Oy is me. It finally dawned on me where this is most surely coming from.

The request for loading Macromedia Player 8 while browinsg Apolyton should be legitimate -- if you need it installed within your browser, it will likely appear whenever you browse any part of the site that has the top 468x60 banner on it.

There is a Supreme Ruler 2010 campaign running directly through us (that is, not served through a third-party agency) at present. The ad is Flash-based, and Flash is a product of Macromedia.

Thanks. That makes sense. But I can see the ad just fine without MP 8. So I don't see the need to download it. But since I blocked it, it's no longer a problem.

its still a problem - affecting every time I click on a page, send a post, do anything on the site

the problem for me is I can't block because I don't control the firewall or browser settings at work. I'm sure I'm not alone.

                  At home its no problem

So is browsing Poly, most likely.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Yes, but that's less easy to spot.

                              Then the solution is obvious.
