I reported this phenominon a couple of years back in a much more boring thread. I still have PMs I can't access or erase. DanQ and MarkG have been working on it all this time, and my gratitude knows no bounds, though I'm beginning to think it may have slipped their collective minds.

I've learned to accept my phantom PMs, and have come to a place of peace about the situation.

I don't want to be a pain in anybody's rear end, but this is still bugging me. On the Forum Front Page, the script tells me I have 145 messages (only 5 to go before the limit), whereas in reality I only have a total of 75 in my folders. Which of these two numbers is the actual one that counts toward the limit of 150 messages?
