something is crashing my browser

I don't know if it is an ad or something, but I think it is related to those


"there is no document" pop up boxes or whatever they say...

it's happened 3 times now in the off-topic... once I had typed a really long post, I was editing it, then poof, browser crash, I came back to my post, and everything I typed was gone.

I've got Firefox 1.0.7 with no plug ins or anything.

I'm not running anything else in the background and I've got no spyware or anything.

Hopefully I can get through typing this post without it crashing again.

So far, it's only happened in the off-topic. I was in other games and everything was fine... so far, things are fine here. And it's not happened at any other website I've been at today.

I don't know what I can do really, I can't screenshot what ads are on the screen because everything crashes. The error report box doesn't even come up.

But I just thought I should report this. Maybe someone else is having the same problem. I'll check back later, to see if it is still occurring.

Does anyone know how to change the size of the font for the bookmarks?

I barely had to scroll down before... now it's like, not even half my bookmarks show up. The tools -> options menu is a little different and I can't seem to find where, if at all, the option is to change this.

Also, I haven't had the browser crash since I updated.

Maybe this was it?

But I've obviously been using 1.0.7 for a long time and never had crashes like this.

I use the 1.0.6. 1.5 doesn´t work with my internet Bank...

But I´ve never had problems with this version on Poly.

Then use dual installs or something. You can't go on using 1.0.6 when there's so much security fixes that has come since it's release.

I've not had any crashing problems since I have upgraded my FF. Although, I don't think or know if that was the issue or not. I doubt it since I didn't have any problems with crashing before. I wonder if it was just something going on that day during that time... maybe there was a lot of traffic and a specific ad was causing some problem? I don't know. Maybe it was just one of those things.

Nobody seems to be having the same problem.

Seems like an isolated incident.
