Yeah, everywhere I go and which starts with 'http://www.apolyton.com/forums'

It is so a couple of days now, maybe even a week, dunno, I just got tired of it.

    I am using Win2000, IE 6.0.2800.1106

(and I dont want to hear about FF or any other Gecko)

I don't know the underlying cause of the messages, but you can turn them off in IE by going to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, and then check Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer).

Okay, I'm not getting the script error message, so most likely something about your PC changed.

Is your PC by any chance used at work? The reason I'm asking is that several years ago all the PCs where I worked started to get script messages similar to yours. It turned out that our headquarters had made a change in the IE configuration. Is it possible that something similar affected you?

Well, if my hq changed it, I'd know it. The message just startde to appear some time ago.

Before that I got a syntax error at line 1 message, but it was less often, I presume it was in some relative .js file which was loaded into cahce and thus the error only appeared first time I opened apolyton in IE session (not when I browsed it).

I posted the version above btw.

Well, I've got a feeling that you're going to tell me you already tried this, but have you cleared your IE cache?

You're a Web developer and you aren't using a Gecko based browser to see if you are writing complaint code?

                    Sorry, can't reproduce the problem.

                    (I use Opera)
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

No really, this makes no sense IMO.

You mean, things may not work in IE while working in Opera?

Go tell that to our customers.
