On the smileys list page, the URL for the trophy smiley is:

This, as you can see, has proper transparent background:

However, if we use the :trophy: tag, then the URL of that smiley is

And that has the bad old background:

Indeed, we can see that 67.15.24.227 != apolyton.net, because:

>ping apolyton.net

Pinging apolyton.net [67.15.24.46] with 32 bytes of data:

...

Clearly, there is more than one server, and while you updated one, the other one still serves old smileys.
