Can I ask where Apolyton got its smilie collection? Are they mostly from one place? I ask because I'm setting up a forum and can't stand most smilie sets - Apolyton is the gold standard in my book.

Stuie, it may well be a mostly manual effort, but get hold of Stefu first, and see what he's prepared to let you use. Mind you, he may have got bored of creating the usual dull emotion smilies, and branched out into lunatic smilies, so you may not get absolutely what you want, but people will come from the four corners of the, er, net to see the site with the Patagonian panpipe smilie!
