  • "Recognition" Page Now A Section

In early October 1999, Apolyton Civilization Site first published its "Recognition" page that documented in one place all the awards and media mentions the site had received to date. The last update of substance was more than three years ago in early August 2002 [reference]. Today, the page has officially morphed into a section comprised of series of pages and revised with more current mentions in a standardized format.

If you note any mention missing, please email ACS Co-Owner/Administrator Daniel "DanQ" Quick with details that answer the following questions: who, where, when, what and why. For online mentions, please include a reference of the address/URL; for all 'offline' mentions, please include a scanned image of the piece if and in JPG format where possible.

    That's great!

I think that some are missing, including one that was mentioned in a Wargames online website... I think I brought it to your attention in the AC/Community section in late 2003/early 2004 If I remember correctly.

Does anyone else recall what I'm talking about?

Yes, I know the one you mean -- the one at WarGamer that has since gone offline. It was originally published in May of 2003. You indeed did bring it to our attention in this thread:

A 'full' archived version of the article is available from:

Will update our section accordingly in the coming days.
