I can see the buttons, I just can't see the text popup explaining what each button does. I usually have to guess. . I remember now though, the first one is profile, the second is email, the third is PM. I"m not sure what the other 2 do.
I had this problem (no smiles, civgroups, pm, profile icons) for a while. I had turned "Load images from the originating website only" turned on in the "web features" section of the options..
Now a special warning page pops up (an extra pop-up page when I get the standard web page)... It says (in the header) "http://apolyton.net - Warning - Mozilla Firefox", but the actual page is completely blank...
